Über die Veranstaltung
It all started with the Burning Café – a regular gathering for burners in Vienna, and for those interested in Burning Man and the local community. The Café takes place every (other) month as a small meeting, where people just come together to have a drink and share ideas. However, at some point the community wanted to create more and that’s when Burning Café Extended was born!
The Burning Café Extended takes place at irregular intervals and is a participatory community event, organized by volunteers with a program designed by its participants. There are plenty of different ways to contribute, starting from decorating the space and bringing art, to facilitating a workshop, performing live, or being one of the DJs. Burning Café Extended is a public, non-profit event, which is inspired by the 10 principles of Burning Man as well as the 11th principle of “Consent”.
The next Summer Edition of Burning Café Extended will take place on 15th of June at R:Journey Headquarter!
